Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan was perfect in his academics. He was a professor in many colleges of India and known for his kind heart and selfless. He was professor at Harvard University and principal of Haris Manchester College, Oxford. Also, he was a lecturer of Oxford University on comparative religion.

When he was the Vice president of India, many of his students asked him to celebrate his birthday. In the reply, he said,” It would be an honor for me, if 5 September celebrated as Teachers day”. Hence, history continues and the relationship between teacher and student worshipped on 5 September every year.
