His father was a British Indian Army man and also a good player of hockey. After attaining some elementary enlightenment, he merged with the Indian Army in 1922. Subedar Major Tiwari motivated him to play Hockey, major Tiwari was also a sports lover.

To saw the outstanding performance of Dhyanchand in hockey, the Indian Army promoted him again and again and in last eventually he become Major.

Major Achievements of Dhyanchand:-

He won 3 gold medals in Olympics and made India proud. In 1936, at Berlin Olympic Game he was elected as a captain of the Indian hockey team. In his entire carrier, he had scored over 400 international Goals. The Government of India honored him in 1956 with the third-largest civilian Padma Bhushan Award and to celebrate his birthday as National Sports Day since 2012. After the demise of Arun Jaitely, the former finance minister of India of BJP had received anenormous honor when the Delhi district cricket association renamed the Feroz Shah Kotla stadium with Arun Jaitely stadium.

This decision was announced after the funeral of Arun Jaitely in the presence of top leaders. Rajat Sharma said the Arun Jaitely contribution in the development of this stadium was indefinable. RBI Decided to showers Rs. 1.76 Lakh Crore Bonanza on Government!!

The RBI committee referred to maintain the CRB within the range of 6.5% to 5.5% of the balance sheet.

Former Finance Minister And Senior BJP Leader Arun Jaitley Breathed His Last At AIIMS At 66

The latest trending news is Former Finance Minister Arun Jaitley passed away at AIIMS, New Delhi at 12:07 p.m. on Saturday, August 24, 2019. He was admitted to the AIIMS on August 9 and had been on life support since then.

AIIMS statement

The All India Institute for Medical Sciences released a press statement regarding demise of Arun Jaitley. The statement read that he was being treated by a team of multidisciplinary doctors and had been on life support for two weeks. He was 66.

Arun Jaitley illness

Arun Jaitley was suffering from acute diabetic condition. He went for bariatric surgery the correct the weight gain in September 2014 and a kidney transplant in May 14, 2018. He was absent from office since early April 2018 and joined on August 23, 2018 after the renal transplant. Railway Minister Piyush Goyal filed in for him in the Finance Ministry during his absence.

Arun Jaitley was first admitted to AIIMS in May 2019 for regular treatment but he developed serious medical condition of breathlessness and uneasiness in August 9 and was again taken to AIIMS where he breathed his last after remaining on life support for two weeks.

A lawyer by profession, Arun Jaitley was known as the chief trouble-shooter of the government. He became Finance Minister in 2014 Modi government and played a crucial role in pulling the economy out of gloom. He’s survived by wife Sangeeta and son Rohan.

Where Pakistan Stands In Trade War With India?

Pakistan suspended trade ties with India on the eve of India repealing Article 370 and 35A. But little does the Pakistan know that it stands nowhere in the trade war with India.

United Nations Conference on Trade and Development

The 2018 UN data on bilateral trade between India and Pakistan puts latter at a loss. The total value of Indo-Pak trade is $2.8 billion but a large part of this trade is Indian export to Pakistan. It stands at $2.3 billion. India imports goods worth $500 million from Pakistan.

  1. India is less dependent on Pakistan for exports. Pakistan’s export to India is 1.63% of total exports. But India’s export to Pakistan is a meager 0.73%.
  2. Pakistan is more dependent on India for its imports. 3.9% of its imports are from India but it contributes only 0.09% in Indian import.
  3. Cement is the biggest commodity India imports from Pakistan. It is the only commodity accounting for more than 10% from Pakistan.
  4. Pakistan miserable depends on India for 40 commodities that are set to become expensive in the event of a trade war. India accounts for more than one-fourth of the total import of 17 of the 40 commodities.
  5. India and Pakistan would get hit with trade ban. Exporters of both the countries would have to look for markets for their products.

Air Chief Marshal Will Receive First Set Of 36 Rafale Jets In France On September 20

India will receive the first set of 36 Rafale fighter jets in a government ceremony on September 20. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Air Chief Marshal B.S. Dhanoawith be there with the top brass of France for the ceremony. Senior officials of Dassault Aviation, the makers of Rafale will also attend the ceremony.

On September 2016 in Paris, India inked an inter-governmental defense deal with France to buy 36 Rafale fighter jets at a cost of approximately Rs. 58,000 crore. France agreed to complete the deliver of jets in 67 months from the date of contract.

IAF preparing for Rafale jets

The IAF spent around Rs. 400 crore for developing infrastructure for the Rafale jets and on training of pilots. The jets would be stationed in two strategic airbases – Ambala air force station in Punjab and Hasimara base in West Bengal. Both the airbases are being upgraded with new hangers, shelters and maintenance facilities.

India-specific Rafale jets

Dassault is making India-specific jets that includes Israeli helmet-mounted display, 10-hour flight data recording, low band jammers, radar warning receivers and infra-red search and tracking systems.

In July 2017, the Air Chief Marshal B.S. Dhanoa flew a Rafale jet at the Saint-Dizier airbase to experience the flight operation of the aircraft during his visit to France.
