Jhunjhunwala-backed Nazara Technologies Shares Could Be Disappointing For Many

Wait for the allotment of Rakesh Jhunjhunwala-backed Nazara Technologies shares could be over today but most investors would be disappointed as the initial public offer (IPO) by India-based gaming and sports media platform has been subscribed 175.46 times on the last day.

What is the size of this IPO?

Nazara Technologies is offering 29.20 lakh equity shares through its three-day IPO announced on March 17. It is an offer for sale (OFS) of up to 5,294,392 equity shares worth around Rs. 582 crores. The company has fixed the price of a share at Rs. 1,100-1,101. And the lot size of the IPO is capped at 13 shares and in multiples.

How many times the IPO has been subscribed?

The bids submitted by retail investors for Nazara Technologies share were 74.35 times of the reserved portion but it was the non-institutional investors that subscribed to the IPO the highest times that is 389.89 times. Employees also booked their portion 7.36 times. The company is reserved 20,181 shares worth Rs 2 crore for its employees.

How were the IPO bookings made in three days?

It started with the sale of 23,73,395 shares to 43 anchor investors at Rs 1,101 per piece on March 16. The company made over Rs. 261 crores through this sale.

On March 18, the IPO was booked 10.55 times that translates into 3.08 crore equity shares. On March 18, the share sale was subscribed 4.01 times which translates into 1.17 crore equity shares. It is to be noted that the IPO offers 29.20 shares only.

March 25 is The Expected Date For Bihar Board 12th Result

Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) could announce the BSEB 12th results in the coming days. Last year, the result was declared on the evening of March 24. Students should expect the BSEB 12th result 2021 in the last week of March.

How many students are awaiting results?

Approximately 16 lakh students gave the 12th exams conducted from February 1 to 13 this year. And now they are waiting to see their results. BSEB will publish the results on its official websites biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in and biharboardonline.com. Also, students can follow the Twitter handle of BSEB for all updates related to the results. Students are advised to remember their roll numbers to check the results.

• Visit the official website of BSEB
• Click on the ‘Bihar board 12th result 2021’ on the homepage to open the login window
• Enter the details asked and hit the search button
• Soon the BSEB 12th result will be opened on your computer
• Print the result or take a screenshot of your result for future uses

BSEB 12th exams evaluation

The evaluation process of answer sheets of 12th class exams has been completed and the results could be announced by March 25, 2021. Currently, BSEB is busy with the physical verification of toppers and will declare results as soon as the verification process completes.

Evaluation of answer sheets was conducted from March 5 to March 19 and BSEB evaluated close to 80 lakh copies this year. Students are advised to keep checking the official website of BSEB for the latest updates on the result.

Anil Deshmukh has been charged by former Mumbai police chief Param Bir Singh with discussing a racket of collecting ₹ 100 crore a month from Mumbai businesses during February last year. And the opposition is demanding his resignation for the same. But his party chief Sharad Pawar turned down the request for his resignation by saying that Anil Deshmukh was in hospital in February.

Anil Deshmukh released a video clearing the air about his whereabouts in February. He said that he was hospitalized for Covid-19 treatment from February 5 to 15 after which he was sent for 10-day home quarantine. Acting on his doctor’s advice, he took a flight to Mumbai to remain in quarantine. In Mumbai, he would go to the park at night to do pranayama.

He further said that he used to meet officials and policemen to get updates about the pandemic situation. He also attending meetings through video-conference to prepare for the budget session on February 28. He left home for the first time on February 28.

Shaheed Diwas 2021: What Is The Significance Of March 23 For Martyrdom Day?

Every year, March 23 is celebrated as Shaheed Diwas to commemorate the lives of Bhagat Singh, Shivaram Rajguru, and Sukhdev Thapar who laid their lives in the fight for independence from British rule. The colonial government of British India hanged them till death on this day in 1930.

Who were Bhagat Singh, Shivaram Rajguru, and Sukhdev Thapar?

Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, and Sukhdev were freedom fighters known for their brave acts for which they got capital punishment. They threw a bomb in the central assembly on 8 April 1929 not to harm others but to attract attention to their demand for freedom from colonial rule. They took this extreme step to revenge the assassination of Lala Lajpat Rai. They were arrested and charged for endangering the lives of others with explosions and unlawful assembly. Later they were sentenced to death and executed at the Lahore jail on 23 March 1930.

How is Shaheed Diwas celebrated?

Every year, a Shaheedi Mela or Martyrdom Fair is organized at their birthplace that is in the Hussainwala on the Indo-Pak border. People garland their pictures and attend prayer meetings to pay homage to those brave freedom fighters.

Martyrdom Day on January 30

January 30 is also celebrated as Martyrdom Day as it was on that day that Mahatma Gandhi was killed by Nathuram Godse. He was killed on 30 January 1948 after India had attained independence. Nathuram Godse was reportedly unhappy over the partition and held Mahatma Gandhi responsible for the partition.

Why Were Instagram And WhatsApp Down And Who Benefitted From This Outage?

Instagram and WhatsApp users witnessed over half-an-hour downtime tonight globally. It started around 11 pm when the users first reported the outage when they weren’t able to upload their photos or send messages.

What was the reason behind the outage?

Facebook who owns both Instagram and WhatsApp released a statement soon after noticing the outage. It said that users tweeted about the difficulty they faced in uploading content and sending messages during outage. A spokesperson from Facebook said that it was a technical issue that had been resolved and that they were apologetic for the inconvenience caused to the users.

What did outage tracking website say about the outage?

Downdetector.com reported that the Facebook owned apps Instagram and WhatsApp were down for over 30 minutes from 11 pm and 11:40 pm. The website noted more than 1.2 million reports about Instagram outage and over 23,000 posts about issues with WhatsApp. Downdetector website uses user-submitted errors on its platform to track downtime of different websites.

How was Signal benefitted from WhatsApp outage?

The rival messaging app Signal tweeted a swipe on the WhatsApp outage by expressing its solidarity with the people working on the WhatsApp downtime. It further stated that people outside the tech industry would never know how weird that sounded when someone said that they were looking forward to some weekend outage. It also said that Signal registrations were through the roof and welcomed everyone on its platform. It is to be noted that Signal claims better user privacy and security.
