Pakistan Reports on Kulbhushan Jadhav: Whose success is this?

On Wednesday, India celebrated the Kulbhushan Jadhav Verdict by the International Court of justice. Whereas Pakistan claimed it as own success. Pakistan media showed a different picture of the whole statement in favour of their country as our domestic media.

In today headlines of Pakistan media, ICJ reacts India’s Request for Kulbhushan Jadhav’s exoneration. They are claiming, the ICJ rejected all remedies and Jadhav’s belief and death sentence doesn’t encroach upon Vienna settlement.

According to Tribune reports, they said the ICJ judgment, ruined all hopes of India that were on the international court.

On the other hand, the army spoke’s speaker of Pakistan, Major General Asif Ghafoor said the governing authenticated military courts. He also said February 27 was another judgment for India.

Bombs found in Grenfell Street in Adelaide, police say it was not a terror attack!

On the reports, the explosives found in Grenfell Street in Adelaide CBD. It has been found near at residential buildings.

After getting an information form the folk, police investigation team reached there at 12.30pm to conduct the place and possible shreds of evidence.

In the research, they have found it is not a terror attack, they are just commercial explosives. Therefore, a 40-year-old-man arrested from the building.

Terrors were not involved!!

Police said they were quite sure this was not a terror attack and after an investigation, they found this was true.

Pakistan ceaselessly mounting nuclear and missile stash

The Indian defence ministry (MOD) recently says, Pakistan relentlessly increasing its armed forces, especially the Nuclear and missile stash, in spite of major financial crisis, it continues target India.

Everything you need to know about Chandrayaan 2 Moon Mission launch

India’s most crucial and striving mission ‘Chandrayaan 2’ was tested before the blast-off one hour today morning by the ISRO. GSLV Mark-II rocket was also set to go up from Andhra Pradesh at 2:51 am which was landed on the moon about in two months.

• When the spacecraft lift-off, it will engage with Vikram, a 1.4-ton lander.

• The budget estimated for Chandrayaan is less than the Hollywood movie Avengers. ($356 million)

Monsoon Hits Nepal Hard Claiming 17 Lives

The fresh spell of monsoon rains created flood like situation in Nepal with the capital Kathmandu being the hardest hit in the last three days. Heavy raining resulted in landslides that claimed 17 lives.

Damage Assessment

Seven people are reported missing while scores of other stranded persons have been rescued to safer places. A senior home ministry official Umkanta Adhikari told reporters that at the heavy ranis had damaged at least 10 highways. But emergency team had cleared some highways while work on others was going on, maintained the official.

Weather Forecast

The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has issued a stern warning of continuous rain and strong winds over the weekend. Several rivers in south-eastern Nepal had already reached dangerous level and continuous raining could further escalate the problem.

NTA NET 2019 exam

A total of 9.42 lakh students appeared in the NTA NET 2019 Exam conducted in 615 centers in 237 cities between June 20 and 26. The exam convener released the initial answer keys on 1 July 2019 and the candidates were given two days to register objections. 3 July 2019 was the last date for raising objections by candidates.

NTA uses a set format to calculate performance of candidates in multi-shift papers. First, the raw marks obtained in different shift/sessions are converted into NTA Score (percentile). Percentile score of a candidate is based on the relative performance of the candidate in exams.

Simply put, the score obtained by a candidate is converted into a scale ranging from 100 to 0 for each shift/session. Eligibility of candidates depends on their performance in UGC-NET exams in aggregate.

DMRC Seeks Rs. 1566.64 crore And Eight-Month Time To Start Free Ride To Women Service In Its Report

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation prepared two-point formula for implementing the ambitious free ride for women scheme of the Delhi government. 

In a detailed report sent to the Delhi government, DMRC sought annual funding to the tune of Rs. 1566.64 crore to provide fare exemption to women. DMRC is working on two options to fund the scheme.

First Option: Women commuters would get pink tokens but DMRC needs at least eight-month time to make necessary arrangements.

Second Option: DMRC would provide tokens and cards to women commuters and it requires one-year to start the free service.

The Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal opted for the pink tokens and asked DMRC to speed up the process to complete it in less than eight-month time. 

He said that DMRC only needed to arrange for pink tokens and re-open its ticket counters to start free ride for women commuters. And it shouldn’t take much time, maintained the Chief Minister.

The DMRC would also require permission of fare fixation committee to start the service. But the approval is only a formality and there is no apprehension of the fare-fixation committee blocking the scheme. 

Formed by the central government, the fixation committee looks into the fare-related decision of the DMRC. Headed by a serving or retired high-court judge, the committee includes chief secretary of the Delhi government and representatives of the Housing and Urban Affairs Ministry. The DMRC had four fare-fixation committees since its inception in 1995.

The Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) has sought subsidy it its proposal to provide free ride to women commuters. Presently DTC runs 3,900 buses on different routes.
