UEFA Euro 2020 Championship To Kickstart On Friday With Limited Fans

Fans are allowed in UEFA Euro 2020 Championship that will kickstart on Friday. While the governing body has agreed to allow at least some fans in the stadiums, the final number of spectators including fans could be different due to pandemic-related restrictions.

How many spectators are allowed for Euro 2020 matches?

Euro 2020 matches will be played in 11 cities including Glasgow, St. Petersburg, Sevilla, Bucharest, Budapest, Baku, and London that will host the most games. While most stadiums will allow 25% spectators, some could go up to 45% of their total strength. Munich is the only city that will allow only 22% of spectators to enjoy the matches.

Budapest, Baku, and St. Petersburg want to allow from 50% to 100% spectators in their stadiums. According to this arrangement, Hungry will allow 68,000 fans in Puskas Arena stadium where its team will play two crucial matches with European Champion Portugal and World Cup Champion France.

In Azerbaijan, the spectators could be around 35,000, but Russia will allow only 30,000 fans for the six group matches and a quarterfinal that will be played in that country.

London that is host to a maximum of eight matches in Wembley Stadium will allow only 25% of the total capacity of spectators to fill the stadium. But the fans are expecting the cap to be raised at least for the two semifinals and the final match.

But little did the architect know that the design will create challenges for golfers. On the one hand, the daunting size of the course will batter the players and on the other hand, the high wind blowing off the ocean will make it difficult for them to tee off.

Bryson DeChambeau called the course diabolical. The golfer was disheveled after an even-par 72 with four straight bogeys. The wind just kicked his butt while he was working hard to make shots. He said that the wind was too hard for over 4-footers.

But Keegan Bradley was thrilled after making 69 shots. He said that he was proud to play in the course and made 69 impressive shots. But he admitted that the course was nerve-racking and difficult due to its sheer size and location.
