Send WhatsApp messages without adding phone numbers

There are two ways to send WhatsApp messages to phone numbers without adding them in your contact list. But the first one much easier and it works for both the Android and iOS.

  1. Take a Smartphone and open its browser and enter http://wa.me/xxxxxxxxxx, or this link — http://api.whatsapp.com/send?phone=xxxxxxxxxx in the address bar.
  2. Type phone number with country code in xxxxxxxxxx. For example, take +919911111111. Here the first two digits (91) is the country code and the rest of the digits are of the mobile number.
  3. Open the link to access the WhatsApp page with the phone number in the link and a green Message Button.
  4. Tap on the Message Button to access the WhatsApp of the phone number.
  5. Type your message and send without adding that number on your contact list.

Siri Shortcuts

iPhone users can use Siri Shortcuts to send WhatsApp messages to numbers outside their Phone Books. Developed by Apple, this app runs on devices with iOS 12 or newer versions. iPhone users can download the app for sending WhatsApp messages to phone numbers they don’t want to add to their contact lists.

Password Protect Your Zoom Meeting To Avoid Being Found

The security expert Brian Krebs said that an automated tool found around 100 Zoom meeting IDs in an hour and info for nearly 2,400 Zoom meetings in a single day of scan.

A Kansas City-based security meetup group led by security professional Trent Lo and members of SecKC developed a program called zWarDial that can automatically guess 9 to 11-digit long Zoom meeting IDs and draw info about those meetings.

This tool can find around 100 meetings per hour. It can successfully determine a legitimate meeting ID 14% of time. Also, the program extracted critical info like date and time, meeting organizer and topic of a meeting after scanning nearly 2,400 upcoming or recurring Zoom meetings in a single day.

In January, Zoom implemented a feature that would block repeated attempts to scan for meetings but zWarDialroutes searches through Tor to avoid Zoom’s blocking. But the program can’t find meetings that are password protected.

Zoom encourages users to make passwords

Zoom said in a statement that it strongly encouraged users to implement passwords. The statement further read that passwords for new meetings had been enabled by default since last year, but users were provided the option to opt out of the passwords.

WhatsApp Dark Mode Rolled Out For Android And iPhone Users

Finally, after one year of beta testing, WhatsApp Dark mode is available for users. The Facebook owned company has designed a unique colour scheme for Dark mode. Android and iOS users can find Dark mode on their WhatsApp settings.

It is a dark grey background in an off-white colour and its advantage is that it cuts down glare that improves contrast and readability. Aimed to minimize eye fatigue, the Dark mode uses colours that are closer to the system defaults on Android and iPhone.

But the real objective of the Dark mode is to make WhatsApp more convenient to use in different screens.
