Missed CMT Awards, Watch The Function Here

CMT, the biggest music night, after a year of scheduling and re-scheduling due to pandemic, was organized on June 9 with much zeal and enthusiasm. It has been a long time since CMT awards were announced. And this year, the function has to be outstanding in performance.

A few words about CMT Music Awards….

These are the entirely fan-voted awards where the best videos and artists of the country are recognized. Also, the awards witnessed stiff competition this year especially in the Video of the Year category where there were four contenders.

Underwood and Legend’s collaboration “Hallelujah” was named the Video of the Year award. Also, it was Legend’s first win in the CMT Music Awards. It was an amazing video hence was sure to win the title. But the show has more surprises to unfold.

Performances at the award function….

Artists lined up for giving a performance for the award function include Chris Stapleton and H.E.R., Brothers Osborne, and Dierks Bentley. These were the star performers that presented amazing duets. The audiences were spellbound by the performers.

It was a 120 minutes show of awards, nominees, winners, runner-ups, and performances. And the audiences were ready to stop for a little over 120 minutes if the performers continued to finish their performance.

The biggest performance was from the hosts….

Kelsea Ballerini was invited to host the function along with the returning host Kane Brown and together the due made the award function a memorable event. Their way of presentation was simply awesome.
