Cannes film festival turned into a political theater during the premiere of the film “Three Thousand Years of Longing” by George Miller. A woman stripped her off on the red carpet to give a political message “Stop Raping Us” to the world audience. But the security guards were quick to cover her body and take her out off the stage.

How A Woman Stripped Off On Red Carpet At Cannes
Guests were parading in evening wear when a woman interrupted the parade. Tilda Swinton and Idris Elba were also the guests. They were attending the premiere of their film “Three Thousand Years of Longing”. But the parade was briefly disrupted when a woman jumped on the red carpet and stripped off to give a political message.
Wearing underpants stained red, she had painted her body in the colors of the Ukrainian flag and the written the message “Stop Raping Us”. Also, she shouted the message and posed for the photographers to spread the message to the world audience before the security guards covered and took her away.
What Inspired The Incident?
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said last month that hundreds of cases of rape including sexual assault on small children were reported from the areas previously occupied by Russian forces. He even appealed for aid for his country through a video at the Cannes opening ceremony on Tuesday.
