CBSE Will Take Class 12 Exams In July

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced dates for pending board exams for Class 12 that were postponed to an indefinite period due to nationwide lockdown in March 25. The board said that those were the 29 main subjects crucial for admissions to further courses.

CBSE declared exam dates

The board will conduct exams in two parts – all India and northeast Delhi. The national capital witnessed rioting in the northeast part in February leading to closure of schools for an indefinite time. After the riots, the central government imposed a nationwide lockdown to break the chain of COVID-19. The board also released dates for Class 10 exams for students of North East Delhi online.

Rules for the exams

Each exam will be three hours long and the students are asked to bring their sanitizers in transparent bottles to maintain hygiene. Also, they must wear masks. Parents are also advised to take precautions while allowing their children to go for exams. Students should follow social distancing while commuting and in the examination halls.

Challenges in the board exams

Exam dates are announced but the schools look a little worried about the challenges ahead. If the present situation prevails then they have to be extra-cautious to prevent further spread of COVID-19. The schools are hopeful of more guidelines in the coming days.
