Indian Premier League will auction 292 cricketers including 164 Indians, 125 overseas and 3 from Associated Nations on February 18 in Chennai. While a total of 1,114 cricketers had registered for the auction but the list was prepared after the 8 franchises finished shortlisting of players.

Players in the highest price bracket of Rs. 2 crore

A total of 10 cricketers including two Indian – Harbhajan Singh and Kedar Jadhav – and eight overseas players – Glenn Maxwell, Steve Smith, Shakib Al Hasan, Moeen Ali, Sam Billings, Liam Plunkett, Jason Roy and Mark Wood – are expected to get the highest price in auction.

A total of 10 cricketers including two Indian – Hanuma Vihari and Umesh Jadav are available for grab at the base price of Rs. 1 crore.

A top-ranking batsman in international T20, Dawid Malan will get the base price of Rs. 1 crore. But the eyes will be set on the auction of Smith and Shakib that are asking the top price of Rs. 2 crore.
