Delhi Police has arrested two folks for the panic calls over Delhi Violence

The violence and protests by Jamia students are still under pressure. After the horrendous war and heavy damage, the other incident took place yesterday. Due to the violence, Delhi police decided to close the Metro station on Sunday, however, it was open after the interval.

Delhi police said this was panic news that spread by people who do want peace in the society. The police requested people to do not to react and maintain peace. On the other side, the police have arrested two people for interrogation.

As per the panic news, Delhi Police came forward and said everything is under control and there is no need to worry. Our experts and senior officers have undertaken the situation carefully.

The Delhi head officer Randhawa said, we have undertaken the places like west Delhi, South Delhi, hari garden, and rosary garden more. Please do not take random calls from an unknown number, said Delhi Police. The police will take care of everything and keep an eye on all monsters who are making such panic calls.

AAP Suspends Tahir Hussain Until Murder Investigation Completes Against Him

AamAadmi Party (AAP) suspended the primary membership of its leader Tahir Hussain after he was made an accused in the murder of an Intelligence Bureau (IB) employee, Ankit Sharma during Delhi violence.

The party said in a tweet that Tahir Hussain will remain suspended from the party until the murder charges against him are investigated and he is given a clean chit by the police.

His body was found in a drain near Jafrabad. He was allegedly attacked by a mob and the post-mortem report indicated that he was stabbed multiple times when he was returning home on Tuesday.His body was recovered on Wednesday. His father, Ravinder Sharma who’s also an IB employee, said that his son was stabbed and beaten by supporters of Tahir Hussain.

The BJP leader also supported the allegations against Tahir Hussain. It was the pro-CAA rally in northeast Delhi’s Maujpur that was linked to the Delhi violence that rocked the national capital for four days.

Delhi Violence Draws Criticism From US Lawmakers

The US lawmakers criticized the deadly pro and anti-CAA violence in the Indian capital. It received prominent importance along with the visit of President Donald Trump in the mainstream media.

The US lawmakers reacted to the violence in Delhi

Eliot Engel, Chairman the House Foreign Affairs Committee saidshe was deeply disturbed by the deaths from the communal violence in India. The committee said that the right to protest was a key aspect in democracy but the protests must remain peaceful and police must ensure safety of all.

Republican lawmaker Don Beyer tweeted that he condemned attacks against Muslims in India and rejected bigotry and religious intolerance. He also said that the US State Department should too condemn the violence.

US Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal said that the deadly surge of intolerance in India was horrifying. She tweeted that democracies shouldn’t tolerate division or promote laws that undermine religious freedom. She further said that world was watching.

Congressman Alan Lowenthal said that the violence was a tragic failure of moral leadership. He urged the lawmakers to speak out against the threats to human rights in India.

Democrat presidential candidate and Senator Elizabeth Warren said that strengthening relations with democratic partners like India was important but they should also speak truthfully about their values including freedom of speech and religious freedom and that violence over peaceful protestation was never acceptable.

Congress woman Rashida Talib tweeted that real story about communal violence targeting Muslims in Delhi instead of visit by the US President.

Delhi Pro And Anti-CAA Violence: 13 Dead, 150 Injured And CBSE Exams Postponed

Delhi violence by pro and anti-CAA protestors left 13 people killed and more than 150 including a child injured. Armed mobs had a free run in the northeast Delhi just 15 km from the US President Donal Trump and his family. There were stones and glasses strewn on the streets and people were sitting behind closed doors.

Delhi police was criticized for delayed action that led to loss of life and property of the people. Also, CBSE had to postpone the board exams to be held in affected areas. Delhi police responded with brute force. Also, the National Security Advisor AjitDoval visited the office of Deputy Commissioner of Police, Northeast Delhi to take stock of the situation.

Highlights of the event

  1. The Union Home Ministry said ruled out calling in the army saying that the situation was under control and there was adequate police force to control the mob.
  2. But Delhi Police Commissioner Amulya Patnaik first contradicted the ministry’s claim by saying that there was lack of force but later he gave another statement saying that police have full support of ministry.
  3. Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal along with Deputy CM Manish Sisodia prayed before the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi at Rajghat and urged people to stop violence.
  4. Delhi Police cleared the sit-in protest by a group of anti-CAA supporters at the Jaffrabad Metro Station.
  5. Section 144 promulgated in the northeast Delhi to ban large gatherings. Delhi Police also appealed for peace.
