What Is The History Of World Tourism Day?
The United Nations World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO) proposed a day to celebrate tourism for the growth and development of the tourism sector in the year 1979. And the celebrations began the next year in 1980. Also, 27 September was set for celebrations to coincide with the anniversary of the adoption of the Statutes of UNWTO.
