Bangladeshi Cricket Fans Don’t Like Indian Cricketers

Cricketer Rohit Sharma made startling revelation about Bangladeshi audiences during a Facebook live chat with Bangladeshi cricketer and opening batsman Tamim Iqbal. Sharma said that Indian team didn’t get crowd support in Bangladesh.

The opening batsman of India minced no words in saying that Bangladesh is the only place in the world where Indian cricket team finds no supporters. The crowd in Bangladesh is quite unfriendly towards Indian cricketers. But, at the same time, Rohit Sharma lauded Bangladesh’s efforts to become a cricket giant in a short time.

Rohit said that players were criticized when for their mistakes and he knew how passionate fans could become in Bangladesh but India was used to play with crowd support and it was unbelievable that India didn’t get any crowd support in Bangladesh.

Rohit has an impressive record of runs against Bangladesh in the ICC tournaments. He made centuries in ICC 50-over World Cup 2015, Champions Trophy 2017 and ICC World Cup 2019. With these centuries, India easily managed to beat Bangladesh in the ICC knock-out stage matches.

Both the countries share an intense rivalry in cricket and there had been exciting moments between their fans due to this rivalry. Once such incident happened during the U-19 World Cup final where Bangladesh defeated India in the final and won the tournament for the first time. But it didn’t go well with fans that clashed after the match ended.
