A Tribute to the great legendary Hockey player Dhyan Chand on his 114 Birth Anniversary!

India is a land of so many sporting legends like Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar, Udanpari PT Usha, and the Hockey Wizards Major Dhyanchand.

So, in this article, we are talking about the legendary player Dhyanchand. The great Hockey player Dhyanchand was born on 29 August 1905 in Allahabad. His father was a British Indian Army man and also a good player of hockey. After attaining some elementary enlightenment, he merged with the Indian Army in 1922. Subedar Major Tiwari motivated him to play Hockey, major Tiwari was also a sports lover.

To saw the outstanding performance of Dhyanchand in hockey, the Indian Army promoted him again and again and in last eventually he become Major.

Major Achievements of Dhyanchand:-

He won 3 gold medals in Olympics and made India proud. In 1936, at Berlin Olympic Game he was elected as a captain of the Indian hockey team. In his entire carrier, he had scored over 400 international Goals. The Government of India honored him in 1956 with the third-largest civilian Padma Bhushan Award and to celebrate his birthday as National Sports Day since 2012. The Government of India also give tribute to the great player by changing the name of National Stadium, Delhi go Dhyanchand stadium in 2002. Pakistan Opposition Castigates Imran Khan Government On Article 370

The opposition parties slammed Imran Kahn’s foreign policy after India revoked Article 370 and Indian premier being awarded by Islamic countries.

Imran Khan has been threatening India of nuclear war but failed to get attention of the world. He approached the US and request Islamic countries to help Pakistan but the world leaders turned a blind eye to Pakistan. The opposition alleged that the Imran Khan government was sleeping while India repealed Article 370 and that the government drowned the Pakistan economy with its weak policies.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari attacked Imran Khan saying that he should now save Muzaffarabad instead of dreaming of Srinagar. On the question of PM Modi getting awards by Gulf, Bilawal termed it as a complete failure of the foreign policy of Imran Khan government. He further said that India annexed Kashmir by simply removing Article 370 and Pakistan remained a mute spectator of the incident.

Pakistan alone on Kashmir issue

The US President Donald Trump has categorically said that Kashmir is a bilateral issue between India and Pakistan and that he had no intention of mediating between the two countries on the issue of Pakistan.

Also, none of the G7 nations pay heed to Pakistan’s rhetoric that India’s move could trigger nuclear war in the region. But the most frustrating thing for Pakistan is Gulf honoring Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and conferring the highest award of the country on Indian PM.

He got only 48% of his first serves. These mistakes put immense pressure on the Swiss player. But he bounced back to match and snatched it from Nagal in the second round.

World ranking of SumitNagal

Nagal touched the carrier-high ranking of 175 after the match. His earlier world ranking was 190. It was his first attempt in Grand Slam after losing all the 3 big matches in 2019 but the Indian tennis player managed to reach the main draw of an ATP 500 tournament in Hamburg for the first-time earlier this year. RBI Decided to showers Rs. 1.76 Lakh Crore Bonanza on Government!!

The RBI formed a committee chaired by Bimal Jalan, a former governor of RBI to review the entire status of transferring capital and suggest the framework and excess provisions to the government.

This committee was designed on the need of money by the government. RBI has accepted all terms of Jalan Committee. This will talk about monetary, fiscal, and financial stability issues and how to get them on track.

Aim of the committee

The committee states the clear distinction between two components of economic capital for Realized equity and revaluation balances.

Realized equity is used to maintain all risks and loses which were built for retained earnings, whereas revaluation balances could be used to maintain the market risks and fluctuations such as gain or loss as they characterized unrealized valuation.

The RBI committee referred to maintain the CRB within the range of 6.5% to 5.5% of the balance sheet.

The CRB involving 5.5% to 4.5% for financial stability and 1.0% for functioning risks, The RBI said.

Former Finance Minister And Senior BJP Leader Arun Jaitley Breathed His Last At AIIMS At 66

The latest trending news is Former Finance Minister Arun Jaitley passed away at AIIMS, New Delhi at 12:07 p.m. on Saturday, August 24, 2019. He was admitted to the AIIMS on August 9 and had been on life support since then.

AIIMS statement

The All India Institute for Medical Sciences released a press statement regarding demise of Arun Jaitley. The statement read that he was being treated by a team of multidisciplinary doctors and had been on life support for two weeks. He was 66.

Arun Jaitley illness

Arun Jaitley was suffering from acute diabetic condition. He went for bariatric surgery the correct the weight gain in September 2014 and a kidney transplant in May 14, 2018. He was absent from office since early April 2018 and joined on August 23, 2018 after the renal transplant. Railway Minister Piyush Goyal filed in for him in the Finance Ministry during his absence.

Arun Jaitley was first admitted to AIIMS in May 2019 for regular treatment but he developed serious medical condition of breathlessness and uneasiness in August 9 and was again taken to AIIMS where he breathed his last after remaining on life support for two weeks.

Arun Jaitley’s life

A lawyer by profession, Arun Jaitley was known as the chief trouble-shooter of the government. He became Finance Minister in 2014 Modi government and played a crucial role in pulling the economy out of gloom. He’s survived by wife Sangeeta and son Rohan.

President Ram Nath Kovind, PM Modi and senior government functionaries and leaders from RSS and other parties reached AIIMS to pay their tributes to the Arun Jaitley.

The talks are aimed at deepening relations between the two countries. It is the first engagement of India with UAE after the Indian government reorganized the state of Jammu and Kashmir. PM Modi last visited UAE in February 2018 as the Chief Guest at the World Government Summit.

Where Pakistan Stands In Trade War With India?

Pakistan suspended trade ties with India on the eve of India repealing Article 370 and 35A. But little does the Pakistan know that it stands nowhere in the trade war with India.

United Nations Conference on Trade and Development

The 2018 UN data on bilateral trade between India and Pakistan puts latter at a loss. The total value of Indo-Pak trade is $2.8 billion but a large part of this trade is Indian export to Pakistan. It stands at $2.3 billion. India imports goods worth $500 million from Pakistan.

  1. India is less dependent on Pakistan for exports. Pakistan’s export to India is 1.63% of total exports. But India’s export to Pakistan is a meager 0.73%.
  2. Pakistan is more dependent on India for its imports. 3.9% of its imports are from India but it contributes only 0.09% in Indian import.
  3. Cement is the biggest commodity India imports from Pakistan. It is the only commodity accounting for more than 10% from Pakistan.
  4. Pakistan miserable depends on India for 40 commodities that are set to become expensive in the event of a trade war. India accounts for more than one-fourth of the total import of 17 of the 40 commodities.
  5. India and Pakistan would get hit with trade ban. Exporters of both the countries would have to look for markets for their products.
