Terminator: Dark Fate: It Is The Same Story Of Terminator Chasing Targets And Finally Getting Destroyed

Terminator: Dark Fate is the sixth instalment of the Terminator series that began in 1984 with Arnold Schwarzenegger playing the lead role. The aging actor has also a role in the sixth series because no series would complete without the Terminator of all Terminators.

Story

The apocalypse that was thought to have been averted is on its way but it has been modified lightly to suit to the sixth instalment. The story starts from August 29, 1997 just three years after defeating T-1000. Sara Connor is heard saying that she knew that it would happen. In the next scene, Sara is seen sitting with her teenage son John on beach in Guatemala. Suddenly a T-800 Terminator arrives and kills John. Twenty-two years later in Mexico City, an auto worker meets the same fate at the hands of Terminator Rev 9. The auto worker, Daniella Ramos, is caught unaware by the attack but saved by Grace, a human resistance fighter with cybernetic enhancements.

  • The story relies on the same premise of a killing machine hunting people

  • Mackenzie Davis looks impressive in the role of a muscular, agile, gender-fluid super soldier

Visually, the movie is made spectacular with brilliant visual effects after all it is all about karma and karmic connections. Overall, the movie is an enjoyable fare but the viewers would miss the magic touch of Cameron.

Saand Ki Aankh is an inspiring movie that is itself inspired from a real-life story of two Tomar sisters that earned name and fame in international shooting championships despite belonging to the gender sensitive society of sugar growing belt of India. They are Chandro Tomar and Prakashi Tomar now in their 80s.

Story

The story starts in the flashback in 50s when Prakashi Tomar enters as a newly wedded bride to her new home in Johri village in Baghpat in Uttar Pradesh. She quickly recognizes that here sister-in-law Chandro Tomar is her real-life partner. In the movie, Taapsee Pannu is playing Prakashi Tomar and Bhumi Pednekar is essaying the role of Chandro Tomar. 

The movie further moves into the personal lives of both the Tomar sisters. They are seen doing hard work in fields and giving birth to kids every year. But they find time to learn shooting that becomes their first love. They deceive their husbands to attend shooting classes and finally to leave for tournaments. On returning back, they were welcomed with garlands.

Made In China is a medical comedy revolving around the quacks selling erectile dysfunction pills stronger than the branded Viagra. This time a failed businessman from Gujarat becomes their victim and land himself in a crime of international magnitude. 

Story

Raghuvir Mehta (Rajkummar Rao)is a businessman with multiple failed attempts at everything from his personal to social and financial to international life. Repeated failure makes him crazy for success and he starts taking chances at everything he finds in his approach. But he always gets cheap offers. 

One day Raghuvir Mehta finds an offer of selling a sex stimulant from China. It is a drug sold in black market but at a high price. He talks to a sexologist Dr. Vardhi (Boman Irani) to sell his drug. Dr. Vardhi agrees to share details of his clients with Mehta. But there is a problem. An official from China dies due to overdose of the drug and a criminal investigation initiates to find cause of his death. This time Raguvir Mehta falls in serious trouble.

Story

The movie starts in 1419 in Sitamgarh where an evil conspiracy separates three couples only to reunite 600 years later in 2019. The reincarnation takes place thousands of miles away in London. The couples meet again but in a different situation and again they become victim of the same conspiracy. Destiny brings them to Sitamgarh where they realize their fault and unite forever.

Lori Harvey Facing Police Action For Hit-And-Run Case

Lori Harvey, stepdaughter of comedian and television host Steve Harvey, was arrested for her involvement in a single vehicle car accident in Beverly Hills. A leading model, Lori Harvey was caught under a hit-and-run case.

What was the accident?

BHPD Sgt. James Keenaghan revealed the details of the accident while speaking to CNN. He said that the model allegedly hit a parked vehicle around 9 PM on Sunday. He further maintained that the model swiftly left the crime scene to evade arrest. The police found Lori Harvey running after the crime and chased her car. Eventually she was stopped and arrested by the BHPD Sgt.

Where was the incident happened?

Not much details about the incident are available. The police only informed about the crime and arrest of the model. Details like where exactly it happened and the make and model of the car damaged aren’t available. The model is currently in police custody.

Google celebrates 23rd anniversary of Dr Herbert David Kleber’s election to the National Academy of Medicine on October 01, 1996. He passed away last year.

Who was Dr Herbert David Kleber?

Born on 19 June 1934 in Pittsburgh, he was a renowned American psychiatrist and substance abuse researcher. He discovered his passion for psychology while studying pre-med in Dartmouth College. After completing his psychiatry residency at Yale University, he was appointed to the Public Health Service Prison Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky and it is when his life’s mission began.

Dr Herbert David Kleber on addiction

He never believed addition to be a moral failure but a condition to be treated with thorough research, medication and therapy. He developed an understanding for need for a scientifically-backed approach for treating addiction during his posting at the prison hospital.

What treatment did Dr Herbert David Kleber suggest for addiction?

He developed an “evidence-based treatment” relied on changing path of addition with research and science. His work was recognized by former US President George W Bush who appointed Dr Herbert as the Deputy Director for Demand Reduction at the Office of National Drug Control Policy.

Dr Kleber with his then wife Dr Marian Fishman established the Division on Substance at the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons.
