The story behind celebrating photography day!

In 1839, the first photo element was discovered by French scientists Louise Jacques and Mende Daguerre. The British scientist William Henry discovers the negative process in 1834, whereas the scientist Tail Bot discovered Sensitive paper that helps to capture the image.

What Is The Result Of UNSC Closed Consultation On Kashmir?

United Nations Security Council held a “closed consultation” meeting for an informal discussion on the Kashmir situation after India abrogated Article 370 and 35A that awarded special status to Kashmir.

UNSC discussion on Kashmir

The UNSC is yet to make a press note on the discussion and decision taken on Kashmir situation. But the Indian Ambassador to the UN, Syed Akbaruddin made it clear that Pakistan and China were unnecessarily giving undue significance to a matter that belongs to India.

UNSC’s first discussion on J&K

It isn’t the first time that UNSC met to discuss J&K. On January 1, 1948, India approached UNSC to discuss the conflicting situation in Kashmir due to attack by tribal people and camouflaged soldiers of Pakistan. The UN created a commission that asked for a plebiscite in J&K.

Plebiscite in J&K

It never materialized because Pakistan didn’t fulfill the conditions. It had to vacate the area it had captured to hold a plebiscite. India was also asked to withdrew the non-residents from J&K before plebiscite. But Pakistan didn’t fulfill the condition.

Shimla Agreement

On July 2, 1972, India and Pakistan reached an agreement called Shimla Agreement. Under the agreement, both the countries agreed to keep the Kashmir issue at bilateral level and solve it through discussions. But Pakistan kept raining the issue international forums like Islamic Summit that it hosted in 1974.

US President Donald Trump Asks Imran to resolve their issues with Pakistan

After the end of 370 Article related to Kashmir, the tensions between Pakistan and India is serious. Pakistan prime minister, Imran Khan ask for help to USA president Donald Trump. On Friday, the phone conversation between Trump and Khan took place, the white house said.

They also discussed Afghanistan and Khan said, they are doing great efforts to maintain peace in Afghanistan. We made efforts in the past and will continue for the future as well.

According to sources, President Donald Trump clearly said, the offer to mediate on J&K between India and Pakistan accepting it.

However India had not accepted the request for mediation, he cleared that J&K issues are not on the table anymore.

Indian Airline Achieved huge success: Air India Come to be first Indian airline to fly over the North Pole!

Vir Chakra For Wing Commander AbhinandanVarthman

Wing Commander AbhinandanVarthman will be conferred with the third highest wartime medal Vir Chakra on Independence Day. Sapper Prakash Jadhav and CRPF Dy ComdtHarshpal Singh will be conferred with Kirti Chakras. Prakash Jadhav would get the award posthumously. He sacrificed his life in a terrorist attack in Kulgam in November 2018. Another 14 personnel would be conferred with Shaurya Chakras.

Gallantry awards

Vir Chakra is the third highest gallantry medal given for war-time (presence of the enemy) activities. It comes after Param Vir Chakra &MahaVir Chakra. AbhinandanVarthman will get this award for shooting down a F-16 plane of enemy during air-skirmishes with Pakistan Air Force on February 27.

Another Air Force personnel to get gallantry award is Squardon Leader Minty Aggarwal. She will be conferred with YudhSeva Medal for playing a constructive role as a fighter controller during February 27 aerial conflict.

The Mirage-2000 pilots that who bombed Jaish-e-Mohammed facility at Balakot in Pakistan in the pre-dawn air strikes on Februay 26 will be conferred with Vayu Sena medals.

AbhinandanVarthman

The 35-year Wing Commander shot a F-16 of Pakistan Air Force with his Mig-21 Bison in an aerial attack after Balakot air strikes by Indian Air Force. Seconds after the kill, AbhinandanVarthman’s plane was hit by a Pakistani missile and he had to eject. He landed safely in Pakistan and caught by the military police. Ashes 2019 Batsman Steve Smith Is The New Don Bradman Of Australia
