Chandrayaan-2 Would Start Its Descend On Lunar Surface On Saturday

Chandrayaan-2 is finally ready to let its lander Vikram descend on the Moon. It has been 47-days since the Chanrayaan-2 left earth and now it is going to touch the lunar surface between 1:30am to 2:30am on Saturday.

Landing site

ISRO has marked two landing sites – primary and secondary – for Vikram the lander. It would first attempt landing at the primary site and switch to secondary landing zone only when it finds any difficulty on landing on the first site.

Primary landing site

The primary landing site for Vikram is divided into two zones and the final selection of a zone is left on the lander. It would hover over the primary landing site to collect data and take an informed decision on a landing zone. The two zones are 500m x 500m in area and separated by 1.6km.

Illumination by sunlight

ISRO kept the need for sunlight for illumination for taking clear pictures while choosing landing sites. Sun’s elevation would be more than 6-degrees on these sites. There would be plenty of sunlight needed to take clear pictures of the lunar surface.

Safe landing

Vikram would start descending on lunar surface from an altitude of 35km and follow the safe path determined by ISRO. It would stop at 400m above the surface and hover for some time to collect data required for safe landing.

Jio To Launch Its Fiber Plans With Home Phone And Postpaid Plus Today

Reliance Industries Limited is all set to roll out its ambitious Jio Fiber broadband service from today. Announcement for today’s launch was made the Annual General Meeting (AGM) last month. It would be introduced in the 1600 town in the first phase.

Jio Fiber plans

It seems a hasty launch because the official plan details are yet to be made public. RIL promised a plan for every need, segment and budget. It offers plans starting from Rs.700 to Rs.10,000 and data available would be from 100Mbps to 1Gbpsdepending on the plan. But 1Gbps plans would be made available at a later date.

Device installation and price

It is expected that the installation would be free with refundable security deposit of around Rs. 1,000. The Jio router would come with multiple features to cater to the individual needs of targeted users. But RIL is silent on the initial cost of device and installation charges.

JioHome Phone landline service

All Jio Fiber subscribers would get Jio Home Phone and Jio Fixed Voice free of cost. Its benefit would be free calls to domestic phone users and international calls at an affordable price. Also, the company would provide an affordable calling pack of Rs. 500 for the US and Canada.

RIL has already started the said plans for Preview Pack Subscribers. The new subscribers could also take advantage of the free landline service from day one of activating their plans.

A Tribute to the great legendary Hockey player Dhyan Chand on his 114 Birth Anniversary!

Subedar Major Tiwari motivated him to play Hockey, major Tiwari was also a sports lover.

He won 3 gold medals in Olympics and made India proud. In 1936, at Berlin Olympic Game he was elected as a captain of the Indian hockey team. In his entire carrier, he had scored over 400 international Goals. The Government of India honored him in 1956 with the third-largest civilian Padma Bhushan Award and to celebrate his birthday as National Sports Day since 2012. RBI Decided to showers Rs. 1.76 Lakh Crore Bonanza on Government!!

RBI designed a Jalan committee

This committee was designed on the need of money by the government. RBI has accepted all terms of Jalan Committee. This will talk about monetary, fiscal, and financial stability issues and how to get them on track.

Aim of the committee

The committee states the clear distinction between two components of economic capital for Realized equity and revaluation balances.

Realized equity is used to maintain all risks and loses which were built for retained earnings, whereas revaluation balances could be used to maintain the market risks and fluctuations such as gain or loss as they characterized unrealized valuation.

The RBI committee referred to maintain the CRB within the range of 6.5% to 5.5% of the balance sheet.

The CRB involving 5.5% to 4.5% for financial stability and 1.0% for functioning risks, The RBI said.

Former Finance Minister And Senior BJP Leader Arun Jaitley Breathed His Last At AIIMS At 66

The latest trending news is Former Finance Minister Arun Jaitley passed away at AIIMS, New Delhi at 12:07 p.m. on Saturday, August 24, 2019. He was admitted to the AIIMS on August 9 and had been on life support since then.

AIIMS statement

The All India Institute for Medical Sciences released a press statement regarding demise of Arun Jaitley. The statement read that he was being treated by a team of multidisciplinary doctors and had been on life support for two weeks. He was 66.

Arun Jaitley illness

Arun Jaitley was suffering from acute diabetic condition. He went for bariatric surgery the correct the weight gain in September 2014 and a kidney transplant in May 14, 2018. He was absent from office since early April 2018 and joined on August 23, 2018 after the renal transplant. Railway Minister Piyush Goyal filed in for him in the Finance Ministry during his absence.

Arun Jaitley was first admitted to AIIMS in May 2019 for regular treatment but he developed serious medical condition of breathlessness and uneasiness in August 9 and was again taken to AIIMS where he breathed his last after remaining on life support for two weeks.

Arun Jaitley’s life

A lawyer by profession, Arun Jaitley was known as the chief trouble-shooter of the government. He became Finance Minister in 2014 Modi government and played a crucial role in pulling the economy out of gloom. He’s survived by wife Sangeeta and son Rohan.

President Ram Nath Kovind, PM Modi and senior government functionaries and leaders from RSS and other parties reached AIIMS to pay their tributes to the Arun Jaitley.

Abu Dhabi becomes the first Islamic country to honour PM Modi after Indian government scrapped Article 370 and 35A. UAE termed Article 370 as an internal matter of India. It also said that the step was aimed at bringing equality in the region.

Narendra Modi reached UAE in his second leg of the three-nation visit and held bilateral talks with the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on regional and international issues. The talks are aimed at deepening relations between the two countries. It is the first engagement of India with UAE after the Indian government reorganized the state of Jammu and Kashmir. PM Modi last visited UAE in February 2018 as the Chief Guest at the World Government Summit.
