Delhi’s Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium now called as Arun Jaitely stadium!

After the demise of Arun Jaitely, the former finance minister of India of BJP had received anenormous honor when the Delhi district cricket association renamed the Feroz Shah Kotla stadium with Arun Jaitely stadium.

This decision was announced after the funeral of Arun Jaitely in the presence of top leaders. Rajat Sharma said the Arun Jaitely contribution in the development of this stadium was indefinable. It was Arun Jaitely who made possible for the cricket players like Virat Kohli, Virendra Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir, and more to make India proud today.

History of Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium

It was built in the 14th century. At that time, the citadel was a part of Firozabad, which is the fifth city developed by Feroz Shah Tughlaq in Delhi.
