Pakistan Reports on Kulbhushan Jadhav: Whose success is this?

On Wednesday, India celebrated the Kulbhushan Jadhav Verdict by the International Court of justice. Whereas Pakistan claimed it as own success. Pakistan media showed a different picture of the whole statement in favour of their country as our domestic media.

In today headlines of Pakistan media, ICJ reacts India’s Request for Kulbhushan Jadhav’s exoneration. They are claiming, the ICJ rejected all remedies and Jadhav’s belief and death sentence doesn’t encroach upon Vienna settlement.

According to Tribune reports, they said the ICJ judgment, ruined all hopes of India that were on the international court.

On the other hand, the army spoke’s speaker of Pakistan, Major General Asif Ghafoor said the governing authenticated military courts. He also said February 27 was another judgment for India.

Pakistan showed on their media their jets never entered in India, but soon after they changed their statements. Therefore, their airspace remained closed for 140 days.

On the talk of Kulbhushan Jadhav, Pakistan said The ICJ does not grant permission to release him.

The ICJ said, Pakistan has found the violation of article 36 but on the punishment of Kulbhushan, it is not be watched as article 36.

International media verdict on Kulbhushan

The international media covers the Pakistan and Kulbhushan death sentence and review the ICJ decision.

The world court orders said, in Pakistan, the spy from India seriously punished on a death sentence.

British media also said the same on supporting India, the ICJ said Pakistan, not to accused Indian spying man.

Verdict

India had challenged the death row that was awarded by Pakistan government to Indian spy on violation of article 36. India accused Pakistan on not enlightening of Jadhav’s imprisonment, not telling Jadhav’s rights on article 36, and deteriorating access to Jadhav by consular of India.

India’s requests to ICJ

  1. Notify Pakistan to release Jadhav safely to India
  2. Direct Pakistan to take steps for military court

The statement issued by ICJ, there is a need to review or reconsideration of Jadhav’s case.
