In 2022, Saraswati Puja will be performed on 5 February and the right time to perform the puja is from 07:07 AM to 12:35 PM. According to drikpanchang, the 12:35 PM would be Basant Panchami Madhyahna. Also, it says that one can perform puja on this auspicious day till the Panchami Tithi is prevailing.

Significance Of Basant Panchami

Yellow is the color of Spring. Yellow flowers blossom and make nature look yellowish. Also, the yellow color is associated with the mustard fields. People also wear yellow color attires on this day as it symbolizes knowledge, wisdom, and art. After puja, they wear yellow vermillion on their foreheads to show their reverence to the goddess Saraswati.
