NTA Extends JEE Main Deadline To March 12

NTA-Extends-JEE

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the deadline of JEE Main registration till March 12. The registration was scheduled to be closed at 11:50 pm on March 6 but the deadline is extended to provide students additional time to apply for JEE Main.

New deadline for JEE Main

The NTA has allowed students to apply for the exam till March 12. The link to apply for JEE Main will remain active till 5 pm on the same day. Also, the agency has rescheduled the application correction process. The candidates are allowed to change their details provided in their application forms by paying a nominal fee.

Earlier the rescheduling facility was available only from March 8 to 12. But with the new deadline, the students can apply for changes from March 13 to 16. But it is a onetime facility for making changes in applications. Students are advised to be careful while making correction(s) as no second chance will be provided for making changes.

Notifications for the exam was published on February 7. It is the second JEE Main of 2020 as the first JEE Main was held in January.
