Jacqueline Fernandez Enjoyed Proceeds Of Crime From Conman Sukesh

Enforcement Directorate (ED) investigating the money trail in a ₹ 200 crore extortion case against the conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar said Jacqueline Fernandez knew about the criminal antecedents of the conman and that she “cooked up a false story” to wriggle out of investigations.

What Did Enforcement Directorate Say About Jacqueline Fernandez?

The ED found that Jacqueline Fernandez was well aware of the criminal history of conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar. She knew that he was lodged in Tihar Jail and that he was married. The ED claimed that hair stylist Shaan informed her that Sukesh was married to Leena Maria Paul in February 2021.

The ED claimed Jacqueline Fernandez overlooked the criminal antecedents of Sukesh Chandrashekhar and even lied to the agency that she never knew about Sukesh. She enjoyed the proceeds of the crime as financial benefits from the conman.

The agency further said the conman gifted two cars to Jacqueline’s parents but the actress didn’t disclose it during the investigation. And when confronted with evidence, the actress admitted that Sukesh had bought her a property at Welgana in Sri Lanka.

The agency is also charging Jacqueline Fernandez with evidence tempering as wiped cleaned her phone to remove all evidence of her wrongdoing. Also, she requested her staff to delete all data related to the conman on their phone.

What Financial Benefits Did Jacqueline Fernandez Receive From Sukesh Chandrashekhar?

Jacqueline Fernandez admitted to receiving five watches, 20 pieces of jewelry including two diamond earrings and a multi-colored diamond bracelet, 65 pairs of shoes, 47 dresses, 32 bags, 4 Hermes bags, nine paintings, and one Versace crockery set. The agency also claimed that Sukhesh gave ₹ 7.12 crore to the actor – ₹ 1.26 crore to her sister in the US, ₹ 15 lakh to her brother in Australia, and gifts worth ₹ 5.71 crores.
