After Twitter What Next For Elon Musk, Is It Coca-Cola Or McDonalds?
Tesla CEO and newfound Twitter owner Elon Musk shook the business world again by announcing that he would buy Coca-Cola next. Elon Musk has just finished the Twitter deal in a hostile $44 billion deal and now he wants to fix the Coca-Cola product.
• Elon Musk tweeted about buying Coca-Cola
• He also disclosed his intention of buying McDonald
• Elon Musk is known for sharing his whimsical desires on social media
Let’s First Read Elon Musk’s Tweet About Coca-Cola
He said he was buying Coca-Cola to put the cocaine back. Then came the second tweet where he said that he was going to buy McDonald and fix all the ice cream machines. Also, Elon Musk jokingly responded to his tweets by saying he couldn’t do miracles.
What Elon Musk Wants To Fix In Coca-Cola?
Coca-Cola has a rich history dating back to 1886. Earlier it used to make drinks with coca leaves and kola nuts. It had caffeine obtained from kola nuts and cocaine extracted from coca leaves. But it was the time when cocaine was considered medicinal. And when cocaine was made a prohibited drug in the US, it replaced the ingredient with decocainized coca leaves. Elon Musk wants to restore the original formula of the drink.
Elon Musk’s Outlandish Statements
It isn’t the first time that Elon Musk has made such an outlandish statement as he has a history of making such statements. But what worries is he acts on them.
For example, once he asked Twitter users whether he should sell 10% of his Tesla stock and he sold nearly $7 billion in Tesla shares when 57% of users said yes to him.
Sometimes his tweets look sensible like he suggested adding an edit button to Twitter, but sometimes his tweets look bizarre like converting Twitter’s San Francisco headquarters into a shelter for the homeless.
