Today is the 33rd birthday of the vice-captain of limited over cricket team and the opening batsman of India Rohit Sharma. He is one of the few crickets that have made an important place in Indian cricket team and left an indelible mark on the cricket.

Born on April 30, 1987 in Bansod in Nagpur, Maharashtra, Rohit Sharma is considered a first-class batsman in limited over matches. An excellent captain in limited over cricket, Rohit Sharma is still not confirmed in the Test team.

• In 2019 World Cup, Rohit Sharma made 5 centuries in the entire tournament and became the first batsman to hold achievement.

• Rohit Sharma entered the elite club of cricketers that scored a century in all three formats of cricket. He is third Indian to enter the club with Suresh Raina and KL Rahul.

Rohit Sharma made the highest 264 runs in the history of ODI. He made this score while playing against Sri Lanka in 2014. He scored 264 in 173 balls with 33 fours and 9 sixes.

• Rohit Sharma hit the fastest century on 35 balls in T20 against Sri Lanka. It is the fastest T20 century jointly delivered with David Miller.
