For Mohammad Hafeez, India Is “Laadla” Of World Cricket
Former Pakistan cricket captain Mohammad Hafeez is of the view that India gets pampered in world cricket because the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) generates more revenue than others. Also, he gave a frank opinion on Indian cricket captain Rohit Sharma.
• Mohammad Hafeez called BCCI “Laadla” because of the revenue it generates
• The former Pakistan cricket captain also said that the Indian skipper was under pressure
• India beat Pakistan and Hong Kong in Asia Cup
Why Did Mohammad Hafeez Call BCCI “Laadla”?
Mohammad Hafeez shared a video discussion on PTV sports with the caption “Laadla” on his Twitter handle. He is seen saying that he doesn’t know a lot, but he knows that in their society, whoever is the earner is loved by everyone, is the most laadla (pampered), and gets the most kisses from everyone.
When the anchor asked if the Indians are “Laadlas” because they played so well or because they made more money, Hafeez replied that it was the latter factor.
He said that India was a revenue-making country. So even in bilateral series across the world, where they got sponsorship, they got a jackpot, it was hard to deny those things.
What Did Mohammad Hafeez Say About Rohit Sharma
Mohammad Hafeez first asked to play the video of the match when India beat Hong Kong by 40 runs and said that Rohit Sharma looked weak, afraid, and confused at the time of toss. But his body language changed after winning the match. He seemed confident. Hafeez said that captaincy was putting lots of pressure on Rohit Sharma. He was facing lots of difficulties.
India beat Pakistan and Hong Kong in the Super 4 stage of the Asia Cup. It will again face Pakistan on Sunday.
