Why International Teams Stopped Playing In Pakistan?

It was during the Asia Cup 2009 in Pakistan that a terrorist attack took place on the Sri Lanka team outside the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. Teams stopped visiting Pakistan for cricket until 2015 when Zimbabwe toured Pakistan for a three-match ODI series.

Sri Lanka also toured Pakistan in 2017 and played a solitary ODI. Australia visited Pakistan earlier this year and England will play three Tests starting December 1 in Pakistan.
