Trump Referred To Modi As “Friend” Before Leaving For India

On Sunday, the US President left for a two-visit to India along with the First Lady Melania Trump, his daughter Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Khushner that are also advisors to the President. Also, there is a high-level delegation with the Trump.

The US President referred Modi as his “friend” in his tweet and said Modi told him that his visit would be the biggest event India ever had. He also shared a video from the movie “Baahubali 2: The Conclusion”with his face morphed over the face of the lead actor.

Ivanka Trump on India visit

It is the second time that Ivanka Trump is visiting India. The first time she was in India was in 2018 for the Global Entrepreneurship Summit in Hyderabad. The second time she is visiting with POTUS, FLOTUS and her husband and she feels honoured to be with PM Modi.

PM Modi on Trump’s visit

Modi shared a video tweeted by Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani that said that it was an honour that the US President would be with India and start his historic programme in Ahmedabad.

Melania Trump Tweets To Thank Narendra Modi For His Invitation

US First Lady Melania Trump thanked PM Narendra Modi for inviting POTUS and her to visit India. She tweeted to thank Modi and said that she was excited about the grand welcome planned in India.

Trumps visiting India

Donald Trump and Melania Trump are visiting India on February 24. It would be a two-day visit starting with a grand event in Ahmedabad in Modi’s home state Gujarat.

On February 24, Donald Trump would participate in a grand event similar to the “Howdy Modi” event in the US. Called “Kem Chho Trump”, the event would he held in a newly constructed Sardar Patel Stadium with a seating capacity of more than 1.10 lakh. Trump will inaugurate the stadium said to be bigger than the Melbourne Cricket Ground.

Before the Kem Chho Trump event, Modi and Trump will do a roadshow along a 10-km decked-up stretch from the Ahmedabad airport to Sabarmati Ashram. Trump will also visit Sabarmati Ashram to pay tribute to Mahatma Gandhi.

PM Modi tweeted on POTUS visit

Narendra Modi tweeted that India would accord a memorable welcome to the esteemed guests. He further said that the visit was very special one and that it would play a crucial role in cementing India-US ties in the long run.
