Fans are allowed in UEFA Euro 2020 Championship that will kickstart on Friday. While the governing body has agreed to allow at least some fans in the stadiums, the final number of spectators including fans could be different due to pandemic-related restrictions.
How many spectators are allowed for Euro 2020 matches?
Euro 2020 matches will be played in 11 cities including Glasgow, St. Petersburg, Sevilla, Bucharest, Budapest, Baku, and London that will host the most games. While most stadiums will allow 25% spectators, some could go up to 45% of their total strength. Munich is the only city that will allow only 22% of spectators to enjoy the matches.
Budapest, Baku, and St. Petersburg want to allow from 50% to 100% spectators in their stadiums. According to this arrangement, Hungry will allow 68,000 fans in Puskas Arena stadium where its team will play two crucial matches with European Champion Portugal and World Cup Champion France.
